Fabric origin
This is the Ladies Collection: scrunchies hand-made from atlas — the silk-based material better known as ikat — sourced from Uzbekistan. Each one is named after one of the most popular women’s names in Uzbekistan, a small honor rather than a random label. Kumush, Ziyoda, Rozi, Laylo, Salmo — every name gets its own colorway, so no two are meant to read the same.
It’s the easiest way into atlas ikat if you’ve never worn it before — low commitment, high color, and generous enough that the gather itself becomes part of the pattern.
The three things buyers mention most: the fabric holds real thickness instead of going limp, the elastic has enough grip to last through a full day, and the shine reads as genuine silk rather than a synthetic stand-in.
