This is part of the Flora Collection: hair bows and barrettes made from atlas — the silk-based material better known as ikat — sourced from Uzbekistan. Each piece takes its name from a flower that thrives there, tying the bow back to the place the fabric comes from.
It’s built with real interior structure so the loops hold their shape instead of collapsing flat, which means the dye bleed reads across the whole bow rather than bunching into one corner. Each one is pleated by hand from a single cut of yardage, so the exact color transitions across the loops are unique to that piece of cloth.
It’s substantial enough to be the only accessory you need — worn alone, it does the work a full outfit change usually does.
