This scarf takes its cue from the South Asian dupatta and gives it a Central Asian twist, hand-made from atlas — the ikat silk sourced from Uzbekistan that runs through the rest of the shop.

It comes in three styles built at different scales: a 185in Triangle Train with tapered ends for a dramatic, floor-length drape; a 92in Triangle Standard with triangular ends; and the 92in Square Standard listed here, finished with square ends. The price above reflects the Square Standard — the Triangle Train, being the longest cut, runs higher.

Whichever style, the dye bleed you see is the real feathered boundary from the dyeing process, not a repeated print — laid out across enough fabric to knot at the throat, drape loose over the shoulders, or tie into hair the way it’s traditionally worn.
