Caring for Your Silk

Atlas ikat silk holds up well with a little care. General guidelines:

• Hand wash in cold water with a gentle, pH-neutral detergent, or dry clean if you're unsure.
• Never wring — press gently between towels and lay flat to dry, out of direct sunlight.
• Iron on a low setting with a press cloth between the iron and the silk.
• Store away from direct light and humidity to keep the dye from fading or bleeding.
• Keep perfume and other sprays away from the fabric — they can mark silk permanently.
